Acupuncture is increasingly being tested by conventional clinical trials.  As a result: The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) now recommends acupuncture on the NHS for chronic lower back pain.  Over 0.5 million treatments are carried out by NHS practitioners each year.
